can someone help me with this problem please?

I just tried to download NOD32 from their site. I filled out the registration - they sent me an email but when I click the download link on their website my firefox browser just says "connection reset - try again"
is there a problem with the site - or my browser?

 

There should be no problem , it works for me

Some local sites/distributors wants users to fill in forum however you can download the trial directly from ESET site/servers

Goto :
http://www.eset.com/download/index.php

Download the version for your appropriate operating system

Uninstall your current antivirus software , reboot , clean any traces left in C:\Program files that belong to your previous AV . You should uninstall it because you shouldn't run more than one AV software

Install NOD32 from the file you downloaded from ESET's site

Reboot .

Check your settings with Blackspear's tutorial

Update your NOD32 from Control Center -> Update -> Update now

And remember, the Eset's site will ask you for your username and password. Only after authenticate your download will start. If your Firefox isn't showing for you the authenticate window, verify your settings to authorize this, or try to make the download in Internet Explorer.
