Can Partition Manager be used with RAID configuration?

I have a new computer arriving this week with 2 500GB hard drives in RAID/mirrored configuration. I'm trying to confirm that using Partition Manager to create a partition on the primary drive will automatically create the same partition on the mirrored drive. Can anyone help confirm that?

 

I suppose you have hardware RAID configuration, which means that in Partition Manager your RAID is shown as single drive.

If yes, then new partition created by Partition Manager will be also mirrored.

Note: If move\resize partition or create partition operation will require restart, DO NOT allow to restart because Windows bluescreen mode doesn't have RAID controller driver and may corrupt everything.
Use WinPE Recovery CD instead.
