    Hello fuquen and welcome to the forums :)

    First, please deactivate your other security programs and attempt the install again. If this fails, please attempt an install using the latest 3.1x version release and let me know if this helped clear the issue:

    Thank you very much for helping!

    "deactivate"
    Do you mean "uninstall" them for the time being when
    Returnil is being installed?
    I am a bit suspicious if that would work.
    I have tried several times to have all the security applications switched to
    "installation mode" prior to installing Returnil.
    Have had no luck.

    I wonder maybe all the security programs should be "deactivated"
    before downloading the Returnil.
    Could it be that the control code of Returnil might have been disrupted
    in the course of downloading?
    What do you think, please?

    No, simply turning off any resident or continuous monitoring as this could cause the specific program to block a part or all of the installation. This in turn can lead to unexpected results.

    this could be a source of issues, but would most likely result in the RVS installer being damaged or corrupt. This in turn would result in a failed installation or other error messages. To investigate this further, please send a support request to support (dash) tech (at) returnil (dot) com with reference to this thread, a detailed summary of the issue with error text, and the following log/report files:

    * C:\Windows\rvs3.log
    * C:\Windows\rvs3-inst.log
    * MSINFO32 report**

    **Click START > RUN > Type MSINFO32. On the System Information screen click FILE > Export and then save the file where you can find it to attach to your reply.

    Thanks
    Mike

    Hi,
    What other programs did you have to uninstall? I will request more testing in the lab to identify the conflict...

    Thanks
    Mike
