I know this is not a supported issue, but i would like to ask this question anyway because I might need a (temporary) workaround at a customer's site.

    situation:
customer has a local mailserver ("mailtraq v2.7.1.1730" on a Windows XPPro workstation) which is configured to pull the mail from a (domainpop) popbox at the ISP's mailservers. This worked very well and stable for some years.

    BUT now:
the ISP seems to loose SOME e-mails! (logfiles of the mailserver did not show these e-mails be downloaded)

One of the temporary workarounds that I was thinking of:
editing DNS top MX record to the customer's WAN IP + portforwarding
But in that situation i guess incoming mail might not be scanned bij NOD32?

Or can i configure something to have incoming e-mail by NOD32 though?
    >> note: the database in which the mails ar written needed to be excluded in AMON!!!!! <<<<

    Greetings from Holland

FTR: mailtraq contains an AVG plugin that i can use for this, but I feel much better when NOD32 does the job ;-)
