Can Comodo FW control Raw Socket?

    There are. It's called the Trusted Vendor List (TVL) It's been causing quite a controversy on their forums, with a lot of people who use CIS asking for better management capabilities.

    If the firewall is set to Custom Policy Mode and the checkbox for creating rules for safe applications is unticked, the firewall will ignore the TVL.

    Adobe doesn't use RAW Sockets for updates, they use BITS (Background Intelligent Transfer Service) which is hosted by Svchost, hence the reason svchost wants to makes a connection when it updates.

    The Comodo firewall has an option to control RAW IP, which can be found under a firewall rule for IP. Look at the IP Details tab. Unfortunately it's not very well documented.
