Ok this may be a silly question but I needed to activate some art software and so rather then buy a whole security suite I just used the Comodo 2.4 on the computer to keep the system safe while I activated things. The Comodo 2.4 installed flawlessly and I hooked to the net and I got my software activated. However the dial up connection speed I get is about half what I normally get. Everything else seems fine. Very impressive firewall too in my opinion. I wonder though if it is causing problems on the initial dial up connection.

Any firewall can (and will) affect internet speeds.

For me, Comodo it didnt seem to affect my DSL connection much, but I dont how itd be like for dialup.
