    CAAS (PestPatrol) Mess'in with Connectivity

For over a month now, I’ve had an issue where IE would lose connectivity after sitting for awhile. So I’d get back to things in the morning that I was reading the night before, but zammo, not internet connection.

I’d go through all sorts of things trying to fix it…. Repair the connection through Windows… reset the internet connection..etc…

I was convinced it was something in the new IE7.

But I’ve finally figured out that it is the CA AntiSpyware (CAAS) that tries to update, then for some reason fails, and then blocks internet connectivity.

So when the internet is frozen, if I “update product” in CAAS, then “debug” when it gets stuck, it frees up IE7.

I’m glad I have a work around, I just hope CA fixes this issue.
