Prevx sends an alert with this file. I think is a false positive. o_O
Infact, all toshiba notebooks have this utility and use it in dial-up connections.

Is there a mechanism to verify that?

Let me know. Thank you for your time.

You could upload this dubious file to www.virustotal.com
and have a 2nd opinion (in fact many more opinions :) ).

Before uploading the file, I prefer to scan it with virustotal. How can I post the results?

    Thanks.

Not at all. Of course you can, but they will be deleted here. It's forum policy I think.

But what did you get? How many av-solutions of how many think that this is malware?

I've done some research on interdialer.exe in general and more than half of the AVs detect it as it is used by malware for dialer functionality (a type of trojan horse) or as a downloader by a few mainstream vendors (Symantec/McAfee/ASquared in particular).

However, we still haven't received the sample or log entry so it's hard to say exactly what this particular file is, but it looks like we are correctly detecting it.
