    Searching for Banker malware in websites from my country i find a Fake Avast installer.

    ~ VirusTotal Results Image Removed per Policy ~

    Incredibly Avast not detect it.

    Strangely virustotal says ByteHero Last Update: "2011.08.20" but it not receive updates. :eek:

    Results with one week old malware.
    set 1: 22/102
    set 2: 11/50
    On scanning my clean system it picked up 11 FPs. But as icr said it is for cleaning malware infections and it has more than 50% detection rate on old malwares (1-2 year old).

    Does not matter how old the malware is, Bytehero is just an heuristic engine.
    Thanks for the test, seems that although being just an heuristic engine is not as good as I expected
