For those wondering what happened here and why this topic is locked. We had some back and forth on whether or not advising people to use pirated software was a good idea.

The poster above is recommending that people go out on the Internet and download cracked software. Cracked software is that which has had it's licensing routine broken in some way, so that the people who use the software get to use it without paying for it. That cheats the makers of the software out of their due payment for the product and is also illegal.

Such cracked software frequently has malware planted in it as well. So, that is another good reason not to use it or advise its use to others.

In any case, we ended up leaving their last post in place locking the topic and responding with this advice from the opposite viewpoint.
