Completely new GUI but there are no new components in IS 2014, but compared to IS 2013 all the components have undergone major improvements.

Feels light but there are a number of visual glitches and backup module still being tweaked; overall IMHO, it looks like an early beta.

So this is a polished version of the 2013 build.
Oh crap, i read Bitdefender at first. I was going to comment on something about BD- Nevermind.

 

Beta 2 build available:

The changes made on beta 2 are:

- OnAccess improvements at the Antivirus plugin with the purpose of reducing the impact on PC resources.
- Installer Quick Scan improvements with the purpose of increasing the detection and removal of infections when installing Bullguard
- Much more refined, but still work in progress, Messaging Center
- Status overlays on the main screen, but still work in progress
- User interface improvements
- Various bug fixes on all the plugins
