Seems we have isolated this problem whenever we use TI8 build 786 and prior on intel 815 chipset based motherboards.... Dell GX50 pc's GX150 and true Intel CA815EPFV mobos all experience the problem if you boot TI8 with a mouse attached (all brands we've tried) and once the main interface is up simply move the mouse and watch it reboot.

sort of the same happens on HP-Compaq nw8000 laptops and many other HP laptops. The difference is here the app freezes instead of rebooting, and I have to reboot manually.
However there is no problem when using the touchpad or the keyboard.
(this is when booting from the rescue CD, I've never used TI from Windows)

    Hello andrewgroup and bigg1,

Thank you for choosing Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

Please download the latest build, which is available on our web site at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/updates/. To get access to updates you should register your software first at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/registration/. Please disable any download managers, internet download/connection boosters, etc. before the download. After you install the latest build please create new Acronis Bootable CD with this latest build and use it.

If the problem persists please try the "acpi=off noapic" workaround and if it doesn't help please create the sysinfo.txt and send to support@acronis.com along with the description of the problem (please see https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=55317 for the detailed instructions).

    Thank you.
