Build 3567 Installation

    Why is the new build Version 9, 3567 not "just" updating my previous Version 9, build 2337 like all previous updates. It asked me to uninstall the previous version, then upon installation of the new build, asked me for the Version 9 serial number AND my previous Version 8 serial number. Is this normal?

    Probably, because your TI 9 was a upgrade from TI 8, so it needs both serial numbers.

    My TI9 was an upgrade from TI8.
    Updating from TI9 build 2337 to 3567 happened 'normally'.
    It didn't ask me to uninstall 2337 first.
    I'm using Windows 2000 with NTFS file system.

    Updating from TI8 to TI home 3567 happened 'normally' only prompted for new serial - no uninstall

    Thanks everyone. Mine used to update normally also. Wonder what's changed?
