[bug report] Choosing PUA detection options during installation

    No matter whether the user chooses to enable or disable PUA detection when installing ESS beta 2, PUA detection is always turned off in the options after the suite is installed.

    Not a problem here. Are you actually using beta 2? (3.0.290)

    I am and had the same issue AV only 3.0.290.0

    You enabled Pottentially unwanted appl. detection during installation and after install it is unwanted appl that are enabled.

    Pottentially Unsafe appl are disabled as they are by default in NOD32 v2

    Ah, that explains it. My bad.

    Wish there was a way to enable that option globally, instead of visiting the resident and on-demand scanner option pages one by one.

    Yes , handy . I vote for this , too . Perhaps it is good to have a choice to enable their detection during install :thumb:
