updated nod32 v 667 and its blocking my jv16 powertools latest version(macecraft soft)

when trying to run jv16 im getting: not authorized access. (looks like the new module is doing this: Anti-Stealth support module: 1001 (20080616) because until 5 min ago it was smooth like silk.

edit: just to say that by disabling the real time scan jv16 works again!!

I have no problems running EAV 3.0.667 with all real-time scanner options enabled along with the latest jv16 Power Tools 2008.

Did you install EAV 3.0.667 from scratch? If so, did you change some default settings? If possible, please post here the information about EAV you have installed (Help-About)

Have you tried toggling "advanced heuristics" in the real time scanning?

I have to turn this off to run Dameware in .657

Does the problem occurs after a clean installation of v. 3.0.667? Does using default settings make a difference?

    tnx everyone.

since yesterday i ve uninstalled nod32 and made a clean reinstall, after deleting all traces of the prog.

after new install and update, with default settings everything was ok and jv16 run smooth and fast.

by setting nod to maximum protection (adv heur and run time packers in real time) jv still runs but just a bit slower. guess a clean install resolved, or maybe its because of the new antivirus module....

today using: Virus signature database: 3204 (20080620)
    Update module: 1024 (20080514)
Antivirus and antispyware scanner module: 1121 (20080620)
    Advanced heuristics module: 1071 (20080509)
    Archive support module: 1079 (20080509)
    Cleaner module: 1030 (20080513)
    Anti-Stealth support module: 1001 (20080616)

@ marcos: whats your opinion?? is it the clean install or the new module?
