    Hi

    Whenever I try to install Returnil I keep getting a bluescreen during installation. I tried turning off my antivirus and firewall (NOD32 and Comodo) but it didn't change anything.

    Please help I really would like to be able to use Returnil. :D

    Comodo has a conflict with Returnil when you turn it of did you reboot? and try again.

    Hello Scourge and welcome to the forums :)

    If all you are using is Comodo's Firewall, you shouldn't have any issues; and as you can see from your results, it is not the probable root cause of the conflict on your system. Please send us the following reports with a detailed description of what happened and when to support (dash) tech (at) returnil (dot) com:

    * C:\Windows\rvs3.log
    * C:\Windows\rvs3-inst.log
    * MSINFO32 report**
    * C:\Windows\MINIDUMP***
    * C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP****

    ** Click START > RUN > Type MSINFO32. On the System Information screen click FILE > Export and then save the file where you can find it to attach to your e-mail reply.

    *** Find the files with the same date/time as when the Blue Screen issue happened and attach to your e-mail.

    **** This file may be too large to send via e-mail attachment. If this is true in your case, please let me know and I can get you access to upload it directly to our servers using FTP.

    Thanks
    Mike

    Additionally, can you also try the new RSS Pro 2011 Beta and let me know if you encounter the same blue screen issue? If you do, please send a separate report (same logs) to the same address referencing the new version.

    Thanks
    Mike

    There is no MEMORY.DMP file in my windows folder.

    Will it be enough if I just send the others?

    Yes, as this file is not always available. Have you tried RSS 2011 yet?

    Yes i'm getting the same bluescreen with RVS 2011. It seems to be related to the rvsmon.sys driver

    Thanks - please send the logs and minidumps so we can investigate this further.

    Are you using an imaging program?

    Can you try uninstalling it and letting me know if the BSOD issue remains when you try to install RSS Pro 2011 beta? This should be sufficient to determine if there is a conflict between the two.

    Thanks
    Mike
