Had some problems with web speed and ended up installing evaluation copy of NOD32 to check for viruses. While investigating problems and, after uninstalling NOD32, found that my web browsers (netscape and IE) no longer worked, they didn't seem to be able to find the requested web site. However, if I reinstall NOD32 things work fine! So, with NOD32 browsers are fine, no NOD32 browsers don't work! Why?

    Thanks.....

    Hi regwtp:

    Welcome to Wilders!

IMON registers itself to the LSP (Layered Service Provider) for Winsock2.

You may have other programs that register themselves to the LSP which may break the LSP when NOD32 is removed.

After uninstalling NOD32 run the winsockfix found here (download before uninstalling :) ;) ).

Drop us a note if this fixes the issue.
