Damn and i still dont have a single HD channel.
I'm still doing VHS.
I must say that I was impressed with Sony´s 4K Ultra HD TV.
But I forgot about that you actually need 4K content.
Still no HD channel. Mhm get a Sat Dish and a new world will open up for you. And you should see a clear improvement in picture quality too.
FYI, I will get 2 more HD channels at the end of the month, a total of 17 HD channels.
i love my 4k set. and at least for right now the little content i do have is simply stunning
Oh sounds nice
You want to share more details about your 4K set? You can post here or PM if you want.
If you want true 8k res, get up and go out side... My God.....the clarity!!!
A company called Seiki is making 4K TVs for under $700. The big companies just need to gouge as much as they can out of people....
Yes, but unfortunately the panel on that TV is not very good, you get what you pay for.
In the past, I can remember when the same was being said about VIZIO.....
I sort of understand what you are say SweX. If you were to increase my Notebooks resolution which is 1920x1080, that really would not help me much unless the display were made larger, because I don't want the text to be smaller. On the other hand If I had a 40" display on my computer I could see a lot more at the same time while keeping the size the same.
Transferring the concept to movies and video content is sort of challenging. It does have a lot to do with how big do you want your screen and who is going to pay for it? 10-15 years ago I saw 1080p and thought it was so good it was like looking out a window. Screens in those days weren't as big as they are now. From a broadcasting point of view it seems like a nightmare. They already want to charge $100/month for content that they have a hard time delivering. What is it going to cost to deliver 4K? I definitely see uses for the monitors if they could be used with multiplexers for surveillance cameras, or some vast computer area, but I'm not even excited about today's cable and satellite costs. And I am pretty sick of seeing you get this great price for the first six months unless as long as you want my business.
The other day, I walked into my Big Box store and was literally stunned at the clarity of a Samsung UHDTV - Wow!
