"pulled" = no longer being offered by Windows Update for those that don't already have it.

OK thanks. I haven't either. I'll wait until next week and see what's happening on 'Microsoft Answers' before deciding whether to hide that particular update or not.

Same here. I have no intention of rolling out anything for at least a week beyond the 1 test machine I have installed them all on. Interestingly, I have not seen any issues. Yet. That said, it did take a few days last time for them to surface.

Yeah, it's wise these days to wait about a week or so. It'll take them around a week on MS Answers to admit to any borking anyhow.

    some seem irrelevant...or plain doggy

November Patch Tuesday: A massive update with a few misses
    { Greg Lambert evaluates the risks to existing applications and environments in each month's Patch Tuesday cycle.}

    eg: many people don't need the MS14-078 KB2991963 (IME-Japanese Fonts);
and if you don't plan to upgrade youre Windows 7 box anytime soon to Windows 8.1 then you won't need KB2952664...
    etc, etc.

And, I'm holding off KB3002885 than updates KB3000061 of MS14-058 due to possible issues as noted in the above Blog, and by
Susan Bradley in Window's Secrets 'Patch Watch'.

    hark...is that angel-fire, east!
    well...each to their own poison.

    feandur.

Good find. I wonder how many are pulled by Tuesday?

    Edit:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2992611

'Known issues with this security update

We are aware of an issue in certain configurations in which TLS 1.2 is enabled by default, and TLS negotiations may fail. When this problem occurs, TLS 1.2 connections are dropped, processes hang (stop responding), or services become intermittently unresponsive. You may also receive an error message that resembles the following in the System log in Event Viewer:

    Log Name: System
    Source: Schannel
    Date: Date and time
    Event ID: 36887
    Task Category: None
    Level: Error
    Keywords:
    User: SYSTEM
    Computer: ComputerName
    Description:
A fatal alert was received from the remote endpoint. The TLS protocol defined fatal alert code is 40.' ~ op cit

    hi

may i ask a question ? or make a good suggestion
why don't open a thread with all problematic updates ? and maybe keep it updated and well-ordered

at least if someone/the comunity found a weird software or operation system behavior , at least can give a look at the thread

    what do you think?

My preference is a separate thread for each month titled something like "Microsoft November 2014 updates".

but this is dispersive , seening how microsoft realeases buggy updates ..

i guess 1 thread with all of them it's much easy to consult
or at least 1 thread with the links of all
to avoid double or triple threads

I struggle to find the old one!
