I was attempting to create Bootable Rescue Media. I started the wizard to do so and was greeted with the dialogue box "Rescue Media Contents Selection". My options are Acronis True Image Workstation (safe), Acronis True Image Workstation (full) and Acronis Bootable Agent (full).

Acronis True Image Workstation (safe) and Acronis True Image Workstation (full) were selected by default. Acronis Bootable Agent (full) was not. I looked in the Help section. I could find absolutely no information about what Acronis Bootable Agent is or whether or not it should be selected.

I went to Acronis' website and searched the General Information, Knowledge Base and FAQs. I could find absolutely no information about what Acronis Bootable Agent is or what it does, or if I need to select it for the creation of the Bootable Rescue Media.

Can somebody please let me in on the big secret.

    Hello GreggC,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Remote Workstation Disk Backup Software.

We are sorry for the delayed response.

Please note that this component is a bootable version of Acronis True Image Agent, which is used to back up/restore remote computers. Please refer to chapter 1.2 “Acronis True Image Workstation Architecture” of the respective User's Guide for details about Acronis Remote Agent.

    Thank you.
