Boot Stalls...

    Using the latest version (613) downloaded it today the boot process stalls on usling /lib/modules/ds.o

    The 587 version cd boots just fine, but it has its own issues, cant see the network (even though net card picks up dhcp address) and cant see the external usb cd it booted from.

    HELP

    Platform: Laptop w/no floppy w/no internal CD
    ACPI is a known issue
    have tried NOAPIC, ACPI=OFF switch, no luck

    And please be patient, Boot Stalls, because you will probably have to wait more than a week for them to answer.

    Acronis Support: I really think you should mention that there is a delay in answering support-emails!! Be honest!! :mad:

    Indeed there is a delay and we are trying to close the gap down - we try to do our best to provide our customers with the best support we can offer - just sometimes the circumstances lead to the situation we don't want to be in.
