boot cd fails

    i have the latest version of true image 7.......... i created a boot cd but i can not get my computer to boot......... running xp pro........ the screen says 'strating acronis loader'....... then says 'boot failed, press any key'

    i burned another cd and the same thing......... is there a setting in the TI 7 program that i need to turn on ........ does recovery manager have to be turned on to boot from the cd??
