    Hi,

Boclean and a few other of my software like Spysweeper seems to have some CPU usage problems (Boclean can have pick at around 70-80% use of CPU). From What Kevin (the maker of Boclean) has indicated to me the problem might be PGo_O

From what he said the problem will be the following :

"calls to the system for a function called "GetShortPathName" (which merely asks the system for the actual kernel filename associated with a long filename path, it doesn't DO anything) is being handled improperly by ProcessGuard. That problem* is leading to a kernel memory leak of some sort and that it is this which is causing the rise in CPU."

Can someone from Diamonds or specialist can comment this affirmation? And if the problem is really from PG, does the problem will be solved soono_O

    Thank you,
    Atomas31

Hi Atomas31, Your question has been answered here:
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=68888&page=2

I shall close this thread so that we do not have two topics running about the same problem.

DCS, of course, can re-open this thread to post additional information if they so wish :)

    Thank you. Pilli
