If BOClean needs global hook allows then give it as it is a trusted program. Some programs request global hooks and no problems have ben noticed when these are not given but others programs may lose some of their functionality. Remember that giving protected programs the attributes they need does not apply to other programs i.e. they are not global allows but particular to the the specific program. So with the four general global protections enabled you are very secure from other non protected programs terminating or contaminating your important system & security processes. HTH Pilli
