Any one hear about this one.

    Looks good in features

Blue Atom Antivirus is lighter than another Antivirus and this Antivirus is strong because it has 3 engines and 4 databases.

    · Feature: Re-enable update manager.
    · Feature: Repair offline chatting menu.
    · Scanner: Repair quot;Analysis Dataquot; feature.
    · Scanner: Add some handling to compress uses cpu process.
    · System: Add error handling if database deleted.
    · System: New model, no installation you can get it from official site
    · Heuristic: Add 119 heuristic malware.

    Any comments?

I wondered if this was a rogue when I saw it. Downloaded it from Softpedia so I assume it is not. After installation it pops up a message "CRC error! File content has been modified. If you run a system debugger, clear all breakpoints before running this program!" I downloaded it from both mirrors to see if it was a corrupt download. Neither copy worked. It is listed as a 5.9 MB file and that is what I got. I don't see how anyone could take this seriously. Tried on an XP and a Vista VM. Same results. :thumbd:

As I recall, those high ratings on Softpedia (4.2 of 5) were a result of "keep-it-bro´" politics, and not a sign of finished product.

How does that make it a "very good AV"?

    It´s a minimalistic approach : nothing was found - there you go...that´s a virus !!! :D
