If i have blocked services and drivers from installing would i go to options and allow the process for norton 2004 and Bo Clean to allow for possible driver updates or just disable PG when i have to install latest updates. I hope this makes sense to you all

    Hi donsan709.

Upgdate require no action from from PG - Just go ahead - Should work fine.
If there is a problem you will see it in the PG log :)

Thanks Philli for the info that helps alot. I don't know if i will add protection for global hooks I had it set once and it was blocking ccap exe which i think is part of norton so went looking for it to add to processes but couldn't find it where you click on add files to protect. I did read a post where it was said 99% of most user really did not need to add it any way.

donsan709, I have KAV on this PC & NOD32 on my server - Both protected with PG and neither has had a problem with virus or programme updates Having said that if I were upgrading to a new version I would definately disable protection before upgrading :)

donsan, see if ccapp is in c/program files/common files/symantec, if you still want to try adding it to pg's protection. also, you could use "search" to find ccapp..
