ESET 4.0.424, defs 6249 (as I type this, 6250 has been applied, same
    behavior):

Since visiting a Yahoo! Reuters news story on IE8 (Windows XP),
ESET has been flashing up 4 red "blocked IP address" message boxes every 10or so minutes over the last hour with the following info:

    URL c2462822.cf0.rackcdn.com/568_Surgicallives1... (rest of address
    truncated)
    IP Address: 118.214.164.50:80

The 3 other URLs blocked are different, but all from rackcdn.com

Nothing is logged anywhere that would show the complete URL. Is this coming from some malware within the computer or from some website trying to drop something onto my computer, or a f/p?

Norton Safe Web has found nothing wrong with this website (http://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?name=rackcdn.com).

I've already noticed the alerts have stopped. Was it a f/p?

Edit: A set of 4 alerts popped up just now. Looks like I need to wait for defs 6251 for this to go away.
    Thanks!

Hi, I downloaded ESET today because I was told ESET was flagging my rackspace images and blocking them. Sure enough, it is, and it's still going on. Do I understand correctly that this is a bug that will soon be resolved?

Well, this issue has reappeared, for me at least. IIRC, I noticed a bunch of sites being blocked starting with defs 6250. There were several updates and I noticed the behavior disappeared with defs 6254. Now, blocked addresses have returned with defs 6257 and continue after updating to 6258.

    FYI......

I am not seeing anymore "blocked address" messages (since yesterday).

The rackspace problem seems to have gone away for me after the last update.

I apologize for the creating any confusion or anxiety. It appears, after further review, that in this instance the blocking of the sites in question was indeed *warranted*. Just threw me because of the previous issue.
