    hi pros,

    I pretty new to LNS,

    I have couple a questions

If I wanna block a certain range of UDP ports 25678-25679 example.

    I done this

The source is from my pc to some other source

    1. Rule Name : Block certain UDP ports
    2. Directions : Outbounds ( Am I correct or what should I changed to block)
    3. Ethernet Type : all
    4. IP Protocol : UDP Fragoffset : ALL FragsFlags :ALL
    5. Source ( this sections all information are set as" ALL ")
    6. Destination
    - Ethernet:address = ALL
    - IP: Address = ALL
    - TCP/UDP:port = Equal Or 25678 / 25679

from the rule above does this block the UDP port completely ??

I need some advice, for more information please refer to the screenshots to give you a better details.

    Thanks to any help.

    Hello shaunwang,

You could change the traffic direction from "outbound" to "inbound and outbound".

Of course, don't forget to activate the red blocking symbol for this rule in the second column of Internet Filtering.
In general, for >2 ports you need the option "in range A:B"

    Thomas :)
