Blaster,scan disc,defrag

    Scan disc and Defrag restart says,program is writing to drive-How do I shut down blaster while i perform maintenance tasks o_O Thank you Doug

    Hi Dougd201,

    SpywareBlaster is not a program that runs in the background so there is no need to shut it down unless you manually run it. SpywareBlaster is usually run once a week to check for updates, and if there are any you select them and hit the protect button. After that you just exit it until the next week.

    Are you sure SpywareBlaster is causing this? Have you checked in the task manager to see if it is running?

    Now SpywareGuard does run in the background. It has two processes and an icon in the systray next to the clock. Do you have that installed?
