Blaster/Guard/SpybotS&D

I'm having difficulty in understanding the differences/similarities in these three apps. Do need to run all three on my systems or will one or two be adequate.
Is there a previous post or an FAQ that would address this question.

Welcome to Wilders.

I run all three apps that u mention.

I like them all. SpywareBlaster sets a killbit for every spyware entrie you see when u update it.

SpywareGuard has realtime protection to prevent spyware from ever getting on your comp. It also has download protection and Browser Highjack protection.


Spybot S&D is similiar to SpywareBlaster, i use it for extra protection on my comp.

They all get along fine together and with the amount of spyware out there now, it never hurts to have added protection. They are all excellent apps, and free too!

I would just like to add that SpyBot S&D also adds the convenience to do an "on-demand" scan for spyware and some usage tracks....
