Does TDS3 detect blaster, nachi, and sobig on remote machines? If so, how do scan remotely for these worms.

    Thanks,
    Brad

    Hello Brad
yes they are, as you can see some about written on the TDS main site.
Remote scanning via the network is possible via the scan options if you configure to scan all logical drives, but to scan also the memory TDS needs to be installed on the other system too (for security reasons).
Further you see in TDS Network the remote scanners for certain ports to your choice and via the TCP connect it is possible to use that as a remote scanner too.

    Hi,

The best way is to create a scan list, see the help file

    Scan in E:\
    Scan in F:\

    etc, or

    Scan in \\Server\C
    Scan in \\Server\D
    Scan in \\Server\E
