Blank screen on ASUS K40IN

Hello,

After loading on my notebook ASUS K40IN Acronis Rescue media and selecting Acronis True Image Home 2009 12.0.9796 (full version) the screen goes blank and the system does not give any further sign of life.

Any suggestion

Thank you for using Acronis True Image Home 2009

Please try the following workaround:

- Boot the computer from Acronis True Image bootable rescue disc (Full version);
- Hit F11 key after the "Starting Acronis Loader..." message appears and you get to the selection screen of the program;
- After you get the "Linux Kernel Settings" prompt, please add "acpi=off noapic" parameter (without quotes) to the end of the Linux kernel command line (so it will be "quiet acpi=off noapic");
- Click OK button.

If the issue persists download ISO image of Acronis bootable disc from your account under registered products, it should solve the issue as this ISO image is based on alternative loader.
