This happened with the last two Win10 upgrades (from Win8.1) in my test computer. It didn't happen with clean installs from an ISO or with an upgrade in my main computer. The Network card looks fine in Device Manager. Plugging a USB network card doesn't help as it isn't seen in Network Connections either but it is seen in Device Manager. Uninstall/reinstall the card doesn't help. Reinstalling drivers doesn't help. There is simply no network. A blank Network Connections screen has been reported with WinXP and Win7 and it has an easy fix. But not with Win10. I did a Reset procedure on the system last night and now networking works but all my apps are gone (as expected). Anyone seen a fix for this issue?
I had the same problem from upgrading from build 10074 to build 10130, but after waiting a few minutes my wireless connection came back. Looked like the upgrade wasn't finished yet...
I have found that some of the bugs & glitches can be resolved by doing a few reboots, when I updated from 10120 to 10130 the start menu wouldn't show most of the times & the few times it did appear all the tiles were greyed out & had no right click menu. A few reboots sorted the start menu but only a clean install of build 10130 sorted out the crashes.
I have been seeing the same stuff. Then there is the lack of control of the upgrade process. I think July 29 will be known as "Bloody Wednesday" I am thinking for me the ideal solution may being staying with win 7. My machines and software are all working pefectly.
The lack of control over updates is also a worry for me. I like to have the ability to choose what updates I needed installed. I'm also hoping that they don't force driver updates as well as I can really see that causing a lot of issues. There are already issues where 10 installs a sound driver that mess up the sound completely.
