No need. You could use Comodo FW/D+ with WSA totally on no prob. WSA FW only protects outbound connections. It's like a FW extender. :)

I would like to try WSA but don't think i need it since i am using Kingsoft with the System Defense at the Quick Monitor Setting along with AppGuard and Comodo Def +..I don't really want all the R/W's monitored. Is this what WSA does..

This looks like a limited time and number offer for new customers. WR is not going to lose to much money on this. They are looking to pull in new customers and won't give current customers a chance to save any money..

No need. Just grab the license and wait till your current subscription period runs out. Then activate the license for one year. The license can be activated even after 10 years.;)

You could replace your current AV solution with WSA or simply add WSA to your current setup as WSA smoothly fits in with any setup and is greatly compatible with other AVs. WSA alone is more than strong enough to secure your pc. :)

If you buy a license now, you can wait to activate it until after your current license expires, so this deal works for existing customers as well as new ones :)

You have a choice during the purchase process when buying from Webroot so look for it.

    TH

EDIT: I got one and I used PayPal and I didn't see the Option about Auto Renewal if anyone used a credit card can you please see if you can see this option? Thanks.
But I found this to opt out after purchase if not seen during the Purchase Process: http://www.webroot.com/customerSupport/auto_renewal_optout.php?kc

That was back in 2009 things are very much different now! If there are any issues the support inbox will be happy to correct any problems what so ever. https://www.webrootanywhere.com/servicewelcome.asp? and even Joe would say the same! To be fair, Dragon1952 links to issues back in 2009 and as far as I can tell, the process is different now and I personally have not heard of anyone having problems either opting out or requesting removal.

Is it possible to get a 3 year renewal to what was once a Spysweeper three license, at these prices if I order say three years at once? e.g $10 per year meaning a $30 spend.

Or would it require special support from the sales team?

Hello nothereforlong and Welcome to the Prevx, Webroot support forum.

If you got 3 copies of WSA Antivirus and you want to put them together I'm sure the WSA support inbox will help you do this as I have done in the past just put all 3 key codes in the support ticket and ask them to make it a 1 user 3 year key. https://www.webrootanywhere.com/servicewelcome.asp?

    HTH,

    Thank you Triple Helix.

Do you suggest I wait till Monday to buy the three licenses? I am in the UK and am kinda wondering if I try to phone up UK sales they will say that is not open to UK residents and try to give me some such guff (although I do see the UK website also has it for £8 ).

Basically it's a gift for someone - I had previously given them a three year license which is about to expire, but its in my name so my thinking was just to give them another 3 year license.

So my decision is whether to buy now or wait till Monday? I guess the advantage of waiting till Monday is if I telephone sales and they do refuse my request, I can always buy three licenses online and feed my friend one year licenses every year if what Prevxhelp says is true - that it is not activated at purchase.

Any of your thoughts on this matter would be most welcome.

    Kind regards,

    Nothereforlong.
