BitDefender's Firewall

    I've been reading some good things about BitDefender's AV, but I haven't seen any commentary on their firewall. Anyone here tried it? ...I'm wondering how it compares to ZoneAlarm Pro (which I'm now using). o_O

    I don't think much of the included firewall. It provides only basic outbound application filtering. I never noticed any place where rules can be created or edited, so I'd assume incoming traffic is not being filtered. This is an application only firewall.

    I think you can find better firewalls for free to run alongside of Bitdefender Standard (or if you really want the Pro version, be sure to use a router w/hardware fw).
