Bitdefender Total Security 2008 Not Updating?

    Well I get to 84% and then I get the old MD5 Error so it stops updating...

    I have tried updating in the last 3 hours and still no luck on this Vista Laptop x32...

    Please help me fix this issue...I have googled it and still no answers that are working please help.

    Hello sandman423,

    You should see on which file BitDefender got stuck the problematic file for in the beginning of November was: plugins/emalware.c01 Each time after 3 th time that I saw that file I received that error message. What I am thinking is that some servers are still containing that bad file. If you know what file it got stuck you can contact BitDefender liveassistance (select technical support) and let them check there servers. At this moment I don't have any update issues.
