Bitdefender Free V10 And Other Antivirus Program

    Is it safe to install bitdefender free edition alongside other antivirus program with real time protection?
    I tried to install it and I noticed among others: "uninstall or disable other security programs".
    I believed that does not exist problem because bitdefender free has only "on demand scanner" .

    Do you know if Bitdefender Free has other services running in the background? That could be a problem :doubt:

    Last time I used free BD it had a service running all the time. When I disabled the service whatever was in quarantine was able to phone home. That was a couple years ago. I made a post about it in their forum but I don't know if anything was ever done to fix it.
