Bitdefender Firewall problem

    I'm currently using the trial of Bitdefender Internet Security 9.Upon connecting to irc i seem to get disconnected every half an hour or so and same happens while downloading a file over the internet it simply loses the connection and the download fails.Have tried everything i've got in my bag but still can't resolve this bug anybody who can help out i'll greatly appreciate it.Hoping for a reply soon.
