Bitdefender Antivirus 2011

Installing the 2011 version made my browsing very slow, like I have never
seen before. I really wanted to try this AV, so I did a uninstall and reinstall
but it did not make it better. So, its gone and I will not install it back.
A anti virus that slows down your speed 40% its not worth having.

@Arin, AFAIK no AV give their latest engine to its partners.

 

Same thing.. slowed down my browsing.. system is slower as well.. applications will turn out to be not responding..

 

BitDefender 2011 is not Cup of my coffee for near future. Though it provides you a good security, but seriously this one is more worst than 2010 version. I really wonder how Beta testers tested this software? Why they haven't reported these problems to BitDefender Labs earlier. And if they have reported these issues to their coders, then probably they have ignored these problems.

As we all can see that still BitDefender Security Center crashes a lot, and this problem was also there in 2010 series, but they haven't take appropriate steps to rectify this issue...

IMO this AV still needs a lot of attention.
