Hey firzen good to see you.
There's stiff competition out there now and a lot of great browsers.
I guess when it comes down to it I'd rather have Firefox 4 with a few features missing
and able to use it by xmas. Some of the features they dropped were somewhat unnecessary anyway. What will make Firefox 4 even better will be the extensions as always. Keep things lean and mean!!

ye, i completely agree, the features they cut out were not very needed IMO since i have add-ons to manage my logins which is good for me, the other ones werent really that essential for most people either.

I've been using the daily build of Firefox 4 Beta 7 Pre with the new Jaegermonkey engine in it. You can enable to the engine through about:config, otherwise the daily build shows some nice changes.

There is an option to move your tabs to the top

The status bar is gone but there is a bit of space above every tab
and you can see clearly if your site is finished loading yet.

The cold/warm start up speeds are still poor but the overall speed is getting better and better.

Creating app tabs are easier now

No theme changes for Linux users yet. I think there will be one more beta after 7 to work out the rest of the features. The jaegermonkey engine shows promise but there needs to be plenty of tweaking.
