I wonder. What are the requirements for a distro to appear in these lists?

 

I think Manjaro (and Mint for that matter) should had been in that contest,
Anyway I agree with the winner, plus I find more and more Xfce to be the DE par excellence

 

The final grade among other things. What gets the grade - a billion different parameters.
Most of them are outlined in various reviews. A combo of stability, ease of use, predictability, HW support.
And then everything else, including eye candy, mood, luck, star alignment, codecs, printing, and more.
