Best AV For Advanced User

Hello all, long time lurker here, I was wondering what the best AV for an advanced user who clearly knows what malware is and never gets duped or scammed or anything like that. I can recognize a fake website or program, but I also download a lot of warez/cracked software (totally legal of course ) and I would like a security product that gives me full control and doesn't simply remove everything automatically, as much of my software is legitimate although it is flagged as malware. I am currently using Bitdefender and it is ok, but the firewall is slow as hell and its just alright. I also want a fast program, fast as can be

P.S. Do I even need a firewall? The Bitdefender one slows my PC to a crawl
