i made a simple menu installer that
    * Auto detect 32-bit/64-bit and installs the correct version
    * Download & Updates the Eset Installers 1*
    * Run Eset Uninstaller (Manual Mode)

    NB!
1* Edit the .bat to add eset username/password to get "Update Eset Installers" to work
2* You still have to copy & paste eset username and password to complete the eset installer
2* Currently only English and Norwegian is supported, but you can edit the .bat file to work with many languages

    You need
wget.exe and eset.update.av.txt list (that just has links to exe file on download.eset.com, one line for each exe) :ninja:

selection of the installer could be a marketing strategy ;)
the same works if you want to download for different machines

eset should make a 32/64-bit installer not 2 different ones
better yet an eset universal installer for resellers/administrators

    It is wrong
    size install :

    32 bits : 46.5 mb
    64 bits : 50.7 mb

=> +/- 97 Mo but you are update, you can remove may be 20/30 mb => 67/77Mo

Now, they will do web-installer 10mb, download good version.

Ill never trust an installer other than the original maker. ESPECIALLY if it's an Antivirus / Security System

could some ESET moderator answer this question?:

is there some good reason for including the Engine (VSD) into the installer?

    Hello,

It allows someone to begin using the software right away and ensures that subsequent downloads of updates are smaller.

    Regards,
