    i've a double raid 0 (C: on silicon image 3114) and (D: on nvidia raid 4.84).
Acronis true image 11 home boot cd don't work (don't see my disks) because i need to applysata raid driver manually (F6 on xp cd boot during installation).
so i decide try to make a bartpe boot cd with acronis 11 home plugin.
    But i have some question:
A: During the bartpe boot can i press F6 and insert my sata driver for both the two raid controller or only for one?
B:The partition i want to restore must be formatted before? and if yes can i do this directly from bartpe? or the restore automatically overwrite it?or inside bartpe there is a tool to do this?
C: i have a copy of backup on usb 2.0 external hard drive. bartpe recognize it?
Sorry for my terrible english, i'm from italy.

I'm pretty sure you can add both using F6. However, it's a lot better to just add the drivers to the BartPE build and then they're installed automatically.

The destination partition does not have to be formatted prior to doing a restore. In fact, it can be unallocated space. If the partition exists, TI will delete it and recreate it before the restore.

If you can see the USB drive okay in XP, then BartPE should see it okay. Make sure it's plugged in and turned on before you boot BartPE.

    A. Just copy the WinXP drivers for both of your RAID controllers to to C:\pebuilder3110a\drivers\SCSIAdapter. Put each driver is separate sub-folder. Then rebuild the CD. You will not need to press F6 at all.

    B. No need to format. ATI will do it for you.

    C. Most USB drives will be recognized without any problem. You should have the USB drive plugged in before you boot BartPE.

BartPE will install the drivers automatically if they're included in the build.

Create a sub-folder for each driver. For example:
    C:\pebuilder3110a\drivers\SCSIAdapter\SiI3114
    and
    C:\pebuilder3110a\drivers\SCSIAdapter\nvraid

Then copy the files from the floppy disks into the correct folders. Silicon into the SiI3114 folder, NVidia Raid into the nvraid folder (in this example).
