    Hi,

I do suffer exact the same Problem on a SBS2008 / Exchange 2007.
Happy to have found this thread!
Backing up with Backupassist leads to a BSOD. Using ESET Mail Security, too.

May you send me the patch or the link to it via PN?

    Thanks in advance !!!

    Alex

Are these issues also known with Eset File Security for Windows Servers version 4.3.12014.0 ?

    Kind regards,

    Mmm. Interesting.

We've just installed SBS 2011 (to replace an SBS 2003) and have been running BA for a few years now.

Since the move to SBS 2011 I've not had a successful backup. BSOD's everytime, but, according to the BSOD, ntoskrnl.exe is the faulting process, not ekrn.exe, so not sure if it's related.

    We're using BackupAssist 6.2.6 and EMSX 4.3.10016.0.

Be interested to see if the 'patch' would fix our issues.

    Cheers

    Looks bad quoting oneself, but...

Uninstalling ESET EMS fixed the issue. First successful BA backup of our SBS2011.

Been a user (and reseller) of ESET products for quite a few years now, but seems that I may have to look at a different security solution to protect my server.

Did you ever receive the patch? Didn't that work?

    Hi,

Got the updated eamonm.sys from Eset support yesterday after sending them a direct email. Assumed, possibly wrongly, that this forum was the main support channel. Nevermind.

Anyway, it fixed the issue with our SBS 2011 Standard and BackupAssist :D

Apparently, it is going to be rolled out in a future update.

    Cheers

Yep, well seems ESet really suck. I have not had any reposnse form them to help with this issue and still getting blue screens.

PAthetic that they have forums and ignore them

First time i have used Eset and with a client and probably going to be the last based on poor repsonse like this.

I was advised to use the forums by them and seems to be their plan to ignore and delay people
