    Hello,

    I'm german so please write in easy english.

    I have a network with a server and three workstations. The Synology Diskstations DS-106e connected with the switch. From every PC I can access the diskstation.

    I have also Acronis True Image Enterprise Server 9.1 (for backup tasks).

    Now I have the problem that I can't save the images with True Image on the Synology Diskstation. Every PC (and the server) has write and read access to the diskstation.

    What is wrong?

    Greetz

    Hello Helveticus,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Remote Server Backup Software.

    Please make sure you use the latest build (3832) of Acronis True Image 9.1 Enterprise Server. To get access to updates you should first register your software.

    If the issue persists, please collect some information to let us investigate it thoroughly:

    Please collect the application log of the operation:
    - run the program;
    - select Show log on the toolbar or from the Tools menu;
    - select the log with error messages;
    - click "Save the log entry to file" (the diskette icon).

    Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

    Thank you.

    @forum: sorry, I'm going to answer in german language - we miss a german forum..:oops:

    Hallo Helveticus,

    wir machen Images auf eine WD Netcenter Festplatte. Bei ihr ist es so dass TrueImage die Festplatte immer erst nach ca. 10 Minuten "sieht".

    Wir schliessen die Festplatte mit einem Crossoverkabel direkt an den zu sichernden PC an (funktioniert aber auch mit normalem Ethernetkabel am Switch), fahren die Festplatte hoch und warten dann 10 Minuten bevor wir TureImage von der Rettungs Cd booten. Erst nach dieser Zeitspanne erscheint die Platte in der Laufwerksübersicht unter "entfernte Computer" in der Workgroup für die sie konfiguriert ist.

    Wenn der PC mit Acronis TI zu früh gebootet wird, ist die Netzwerkfestplatte nicht sichtbar, der PC muss nach ein paar Minuten nochmal gebootet werden, irgendwann erscheint sie in der Liste.

    Ob das eine Spezialität der WD Netcenter Platte(n) ist oder von TI weiss ich nicht.

    Gruss, aggronix.
