    Hallo,

Is it possible to backup from a linux server to a windows server.
Can I install the agent on the linux server with the management console for windows?

    Hello GlobalServe,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Remote Server Backup Software.

Please accept my apologies for the delay with the response.

I recommend you to use Acronis True Image Server 8.0 for Linux to backup your Linux based servers.

Acronis True Image Server 8.0 for Linux allows you to create an image of your Linux based server saving this image to the network share located on the Windows based server.

However, I'm afraid that neither Acronis Agent nor Acronis Management Console (which are the components of Acronis True Image Enterprise Server 8.0) can not be installed under Linux. In other words we do not have a solution for the remote imaging of the Linux machines yet.

If you have any further questions please feel free to ask.

    Thank you.
