Backup Error (TrueImage 2009)

    hi together

    after i start a backup i receive the error: backup error!

    I want to backup the complet disk to a attached usb hd. i can the usb hd select under trueimage. After i make all settings i receive the message: backup error.
    For backup i boot from cd.

    can anyone help me? is there any log for the backup?

    True Image might be seeing bad clusters on either the source of destination drives. Run chkdsk /r on each of them then try the Backup again. And it might be a good idea to do a defrag too.

    i will try it, but i have also true image home (a older version), with this it works without error! o_O

    If the other version works then it might be that the TI2009 Linux recovery environment is not a good fit for your hardware. If the chkdsk /r doesn't provide a cure then you might use Acronis' Live Chat support to see if they recommend that they send you a .iso file to burn a new TI CD with better hardware support.

    To find the exact reason of the issue we need the log file of the failed operation, the file can be obtained in the following way:

    Reproduce the backup operation. At the left side of the program window click on the Log button, select the appropriate item, make right-click -> Save -> Select the desired path.

    Attach the file to your post.
