I have a weekly backup scheduled for each of my drives.
When it comes to the C drive, the PC tries to shut down without any warning, but just hangs on the "Windows is closing" screen.
On rebooting the PC goes into a Paragon stand-alone backup of the C drive which can take quite a long time.
I realise that the C drive poses several unique problems to a backup routine, but

    1. Does it have to shut down without warning, whilst I'm in the middle of something else?
    2. Is there an option to "do its best" without shutting down, like ntbackup.exe does, skipping the files it can't copy?
    3. Why does the forced shut down hang?
