Back-Up & Restore Procedure

    I have a question regarding RESTORING. Is there a way to schedule a restore from the secure zone nightly? I know you can schedule backup but i don't see option for restore. thanks

    Could you explain why someone would want to schedule a restore ? ASFAIK there is no such ability in True Image Home.

    We have pc that are frequently used by different users at an open area. After getting used all day long ppl leave a ton of crap on the pc. Frequent reimaging will be nice.

    I see exactly what you mean. So the last one to turn out the lights or the first one in in the morning has to manually do a restore to clear the crud from the machine. It may be that some of the more commercial versions of TI could in fact automate this process.

    Sounds like you would be better off with another technology, like MS virtual pc 2004 (it is free). I have a similar situation and turn on virtual pc and make it "full screen." People have no idea they are working in a virtual environment. :-*

    End of the day, I kill vitual pc and do not save... works great... only issue I've found was lack of support for usb drives... oh, well can't be perfect...
